Surprise Christmas Proposal Tyler, Tx

Roland & Lorena

Roland called me Friday morning of Christmas weekend. He was a little frantic because his prior proposal plans for Christmas Eve in Dallas had all fallen through. He had the ring, he had the people, and his fiancee, Lorena, was already prepared to go somewhere with him. There was only one problem, I could only help him out Saturday morning! We came up with a plan, they were going to meet for coffee at 1948 Coffee Co. at 10am on the square in Tyler. The center courtyard had it’s traditional Christmas tree all decorated, but it was still drizzly outside. The Plaza Tower had an enormous display in their lobby, so that was where Roland decided he wanted to propose. In front of the big Christmas tree, Roland dropped to one knee. It went beautifully and tears were shed and lots of laughter and hugs went round. I will always count it a blessing to be a part of such life altering occasions. Here’s to young love!
