When Camden decided to propose to Alyssa, he knew it had to be special, and with a little help, it turned into a most memorable proposal. Camden wanted to plan a surprise proposal at the Water Gardens in Fort Worth and with the help from his mother it provided the perfect backdrop, with its cascading water and serene ambiance. While Camden and Alyssa attended university out of state in Arizona, his mom worked behind the scenes to ensure every detail was flawless.
She arranged fresh rose petals into a heart on the lowest deck of the gardens, setting the stage for a truly unforgettable proposal. As soon as we got word that Camden was parking, we tucked ourselves out of sight. By that time, a small crowd of onlookers had gathered, eager to witness the magic. One kind gentleman even stepped in to hold a sign, ensuring the space stayed clear until the couple arrived.
The anticipation was palpable as Camden led Alyssa down the floating steps into the fountain where the beautiful red heart of roses waited. Needless to say, it was beautiful and went exactly according to plan. After Alyssa said “yes,” we took some time to explore the beautiful grounds and capture a few more portraits of the newly engaged couple.
As a proposal photographer in Dallas, it’s always a joy to capture these once-in-a-lifetime moments and turn them into cherished memories. From intimate engagements like this to larger celebrations, being part of such personal milestones is why I love what I do.
If you’re searching for a Dallas wedding photographer or someone to document your proposal, I’d love to chat about your plans and see if we would be a good fit!
Thanks for reading!
